Carol Raylene
Hines
March 15,1950 - September 16, 2019
Carol was born and raised in Medford by her mom, Norma McVay, and her dad, Dwight Glenn. She was happily married to James “Rick” Hines in 1974 and remained so until his death in 2001. She raised two sons, Govi Hines (Tiffany) and Jared Hines (Sara). Carol passed away in Medford, though she spent many years living throughout Oregon and Northern California, including Roseburg, Florence, Portland twice, Tigard, San Jose, Susanville and Westwood. She is survived by her two sisters, Shirley Brink and Diane Beukema, her father Dwight Glenn, and her grandchildren Henry and Josephine Hines. She was loved by many. She was fond of the Dalai Lama who said “My religion is kindness.” Service will be held at noon Oct 26 at Bear Creek Park Pavilion C.
